Italy National Rugby Team Men, commonly known as Italy or the Azzurri, is the men's national rugby union team representing Italy and governed by the Federazione Italiana Rugby (FIR). Founded with its first international fixtures in 1929, Italy competes at the highest international level — notably in the annual Six Nations Championship since 2000 and in Rugby World Cup tournaments. The team plays home matches at several major venues including Stadio Olimpico, Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Allianz Stadium and Bluenergy Stadium, and participates in international test matches and tournament fixtures throughout the season.
